Hog Wild Ride to Live Mean Machine Round Metal Sign

Great Sign for Bikers.

In his book, A Kick In The Seat of The Pants, Roger Von Oech explores the creative problem-solving technique of playing "what-if". It's simple. You merely say, "What if" and fill in the blank. It's a great exercise when your mind feels sluggish from focusing too much on a problem. It's sort of like recess for your mind. If possible, try and get a child involved. They don't know the rules of the adult world. That means as an adult, you can learn a lot from them.

Recently my crack research and development team (me and my 9 and 11 year olds) decided to play "what if" with waterless tattoos. I wanted to see if we could come up with some new ways to use waterless tattoos in promotional marketing campaigns promotional marketingto market events, programs or brands. The results we amazingly fun.

"Daddy, what if we put a waterless tattoo on an egg?" my daughter asked.

"Yeah", my son agreed. "And then what if we put them on my t-shirt, and the window and a cup and ..."

So off we went. We spent the next 3 hours trying all sorts of things and here are some of the best!

Yes, waterless tattoos really do adhere to eggs. Right out of the refrigerator. What a great idea for decorating Easter eggs. Because waterless tattoos are produced in 4 color process, you can have them custom-made with a rainbow of color on each tattoo.

We also found out that with a slightly warm iron, waterless tattoos adhere just fine to a t-shirt. And here's the cool part. About an hour after we applied the waterless tattoos to the t-shirt, we threw the shirt into the washing machine. The result? There was absolutely NO TRACE of the tattoos on the shirt. They washed right out. So, waterless tattoos could make for some fairly inexpensive, temporary logo'd t-shirts, especially if you want to re-use the t-shirt for something else later.

Waterless Tattoos also affix well to regular paper making them a great choice for kids to use when decorating cards and letters. Nice little indoor, rainy day project. We use them around the office by affixing them to envelopes.

We also found out that waterless tattoos affix to plastic. The 2" x 2" waterless tattoo works real well on the little frosted/white plastic canisters your 35mm film comes in.

Other uses for waterless tattoos include using them to keep track of who's plastic cup is who's in a group setting. And we found that they also work on glass.

Mind you, that unlike stickers, waterless tattoos are a lot easier to wash off a mirror or window. But when all I said and done the biggest advantage of a waterless tattoo over the type that requires water is, well, there's no water involved.

By letting our creative side wander a bit, we've been able to take a product that was intended for the skin and apply it, literally, to a whole host of new uses.

Next time you're faced with a problem to solve, play "what if" and see what you come up with. And again, if you have trouble, go find a child and you'll have all the help you need.

One of the worst feelings a dog owner can have is discovering that their dog got let out by accident or heaven forbid was dog napped. There are a few options dog owners have to help ensure that they will be reunited with their lost dog. However, some options are better than others. It is common sense to make sure that your dog has a collar on and that they have an identification tag on it with your name and phone number. Unfortunately, dog collars can fall off or be taken off. Another option dog owners have is to have a microchip installed in there pet. Once again there are problems with this method as well. If the vet or whatever facility the dog is taken to does not have the machine to scan the dog then the chip is useless.

A very unconventional method that can be used to help reunite dogs and owners is tattooing. Yes, this procedure may sound a little cruel but it is a great way to mark your dog in the event you should get separated from them. In case you are wondering, tattooing a dog is done just like it is done for a human. The tattooing itself doesn't really hurt the dog as much as it does a human because they have more layers of skin, but it is still uncomfortable to them. The dog is more likely to be more afraid of the sound of the tattoo gun rather than the actually tattooing.

The best place to get your dog tattooed is on the inside of their leg or on their stomach. A lot of dog owner' do get their dogs ears and lips tattooed. But sadly, these can be removed if the dog's ears are clipped and their lips are clipped. It is also a good idea to keep this area shaved so that if the dog gets separated from you, whomever finds it will be able to see the tattoo clearly. It is a common practice for owners to have their social security number tattooed on the dog but if you are uncomfortable with that you can pick out a series of numbers. Also if you get your dog tattooed you need to be sure to register your pet with The National Dog Registry or Tatoo-A-Pet at 800-TATTOOS.

Tigers Hawks Snakes (Tigers Hawks Snakes Tattoo Design)

Another great outline book in Horimouja's growing library of tattoo books. This book features tigers, hawks, and snakes. Classic Icons from Japanese culture and folklore are represented here in Jack's authentic yet contemporary style. The book measures 10 1/2" X 13" and is 50 single sided pages.

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is a state-of-the-art form of cosmetic tattooing. The specialized techniques used for permanent cosmetics are often referred to as micropigmentation, micropigment implantation or dermagraphics. The cosmetic implantation technique deposits tiny individual implants of pigment into the dermal layer of skin to enhance facial features. The 3 most common procedures are eyebrows, eyeliner and full lip color.
How Is It Done?

Permanent cosmetic procedures are performed using various machines, including the traditional (or specialized) tattoo or coil machines; the pen or rotary machine and the non-machine or hand tool method.

What Can Be Done?

- Eyebrows - Eyeliner

- LipLiner - Full Lips

- Cleft Lip - Beauty Marks

-Skin Grafts

-Scar Camouflage

-Areola repigmentation

Who Benefits?

Women who:

Have sparse brows and are tired of brow pencils

Are tired of their makeup smearing

Are athletic, yet still want to look their best

Are allergic to conventional cosmetics

Wear contact lenses

Want to streamline their daily makeup rgime

Have colorless lips or uneven lip borders

Have had breast reconstruction surgery (can tattoo an areola)

Have scars and want them blended with their surrounding normal skin

Does it hurt?

Topical cream anesthetics are used to numb the area. Most people equate the sensation as similar to tweezing or waxing. Nancy provides instructions which further promote comfort. Not following instructions can promote bleeding and increase sensitivity.
Permanent makeup intrigues me, ..I dont know much about it..

You probably know of someone who has permanent makeup and they love it. Or you may have seen or heard stories of bad work. It seems that the media is more likely to expound on the horror stories rather than the beautiful work that can be permanent makeup.

What Could Help Me Know If Permanent Makeup Is For Me?

First you must determine if there is something about your face, or body that youre unhappy with. Say your brows are sparse, you use pencil every day and youre tired of it. You may want to look into what permanent makeup can do for you. If youve had breast reconstruction and the areola/nipple was not replaced, then a permanent makeup artist can tattoo one on, making a woman feel whole again. Napoleon Hill said We Refuse to Believe What We Dont Understand. Without further knowledge the average person cannot make an educated decision about whether or not something will work for them. This means learn as much as possible about permanent makeup prior to making a a firm decision about it.

What Things Should I Look For In A Technician?

Once you have decided that you want permanent makeup, find out more about the technician. See if they have a website; visit that website. See if the information provided makes sense to you. Did you learn anything from it?
Contact the technician, but instead of first asking how much it costs?, do this:

1) Learn as much about permanent makeup yourself before you talk to a prospective technician. Remember, this is your body/face you need to do your research and not rely only on the information they provide you.

2) How many procedures have they done?

3) What educational training have they had?

4) Do they have a portfolio of before and after photos you can review? Do you like what you see?

5) Does the technician seem interested in you?

6) Are they willing to provide answers to your questions?

7) Meet with her for a consultation.

8) Do you get a good feeling about this technician?

9) Ask how she keeps the procedure safe.

10) Then ask for costs. However, be advised this is not the industry to be looking for bargain basement prices...you will get what you pay for...trust me. Ive repaired work that was inexpensive to the client who was only price shopping.

Tattoo making has become very famous in this current age. Regardless of age and gender people love to design their body parts in the form of tattooing. Practicing this art incites a problem of hygiene, as this practice is very popular in many countries many people now perform this art for their bread and butter, and this unhygienic practice is usually done in jails and rural areas.

Professionals or the tattoo specials do take care of the sanitation issues but a person having incomplete know how of this work rarely bothers about the before and after cleanliness. This negligence can lead to fatal diseases like Hepatitis and HIV. It all can be occurred because of using no sterilized needles or the tattooing machine. Before starting all the tattoo making, use gloves and sterilize equipments as it might be possible that the other person emit body fluids, which if infectious likely to harm the person coming next to him/her. Several kinds of allergies or infection can happen which includes swelling, itching or burning of the skin.

It has been instructed for a person newly having its tattoo that he/she should not expose that area directly in the sun soon after this art has been done. Keep that part of skin clean and use any cream or lotion if needed.

Decorating with you with a tattoo can sometimes get risky due to the unspecialized or inexperienced practitioners. Young generation usually does not bother about the side effects of this art, but in future it can badly harm to their skin.

Have you noticed that there are a lot of people that have Tattoos these days? In the past you may have only seen tattoos on people such as sailors, outlaws, and biker gangs but now tattoos are a very popular body decoration for many people. The types and styles of tattoos has also come a very long way. It is no longer crude pictures of pinup girls, skulls, and anchors. Tattoos have developed into very sophisticated art work ranging from Celtic crosses to very personalized symbols. People have found and created designs that express themselves in a very personal way.

What is a Tattoo?

Very simply a tattoo is a puncture wound made in the skin that is filled with ink. Although done differently today than in the past the technique is still somewhat similar. Today, tattoo artist use a tattoo gun that has one or more needles that penetrate the skin and delivery ink into the skin. Tattoos last a very long time due to the fact that the ink is placed deeply into the skin. The top layer of skins is called the epidermis and it is constantly shedding and being reproduced. If the ink from a tattoo was in this layer of skin it would not last very long. The layer of skin that the ink is injected to is called the dermis, which is a deeper layer of skin that is very stable and makes the tattoo stay visible almost permanently.

Tattoos in the past were done manually with a tool that they tapped on the skin to make the puncture wound and then the ink would be injected by hand. Most tattoo shops today have tattoo guns or machines to do this today, although you can still find areas around the world that still use the older style of tattooing. The tattoo guns make tattooing much more quickly today because the machine is able to deliver the ink into the skin as it is puncturing the skin. The tattoo artist can change the tip of the machine to contain one needle or group of needles depending on if they are drawing the outline of the design or shading part of the design. Most tattoo artist today are very skilled and know just how far to drive the needle into the skin to produce a good tattoo. Not going deep enough can result in ragged tattoo and going to deep can result in excessive bleeding, not to mention the pain would be much worse.

Does It Hurt?

Getting a tattoo can hurt and can take several hours or even days to complete depending on the size and design of the tattoo you are getting. The amount of pain can and will very depending on the location of the tattoo. Everyone has a different threshold to pain also. The art has a bit to do with it also. A good tattoo artist can provide less pain over a new or less experienced tattoo artist.

So you want a Tattoo!

First and foremost, if you are going to get a tattoo, get it done safely! Remember, a tattoo is a puncture wound that needs to be taken care of just like any other scrape or cut that you may get. By taking care of your tattoo you will be less likely to have it get infected. It may sound a little silly but you need to make sure that your immunizations are up to date. Tattoo shops today have implement steps to help you avoid infections and disease but it doesn't hurt to take an extra step for your own safety. Have a plan to get medical care if your tattoo does get infected. Some signs of infection are excessive redness, prolonged bleeding, pus or changes in your skin color around the tattoo.

If you have a prior or existing condition such as heart disease, allergies, diabetes or a condition that effects your immune systems by all means consult with your doctor. He may be able to recommend precautions that you can take before getting your tattoo.

Choosing the place to get your tattoo is very important. You want to be sure the tattoo shop is clean and safe. Things such as needles, gloves, mask should all be disposable and should never be used on more than one person. The guns themselves and other equipment that is not disposable should be sterilized after every use. You can contact your local government agencies(county, city, local health department) that can inform your on licensed tattoo shops, standards or complaints against a specific tattoo shop.

Here are some things to look for:

Does the tattoo shop you are looking at have an autoclave to sterilize equipment? An autoclave is a piece of equipment that uses steam, pressure and heat to sterilize with.

Is the shop licensed? You can check this through you local government agency and the tattoo shop you are looking at should be able to provide you with references.

Make sure the tattoo shop the regulations that outline procedures to be followed when dealing with bodily fluids that are provided by the Occupational Safely and Health Administration's Universal Procedures.

Just keep in mind, if the tattoo shop you are considering looks dirty or just doesn't feel right to you for any reason it would probably be best to find a tattoo shop you are more comfortable with.

What to expect

First of all you will need to find your design that you are wanting tattooed on your body. The tattoo shop you are going to will most likely have thousands of designs that you can look through. You may also be able to have the artist create a unique design for you. There are also may designs to choose from on the web. Once you have decided on a design you will need to decide on a location. You may already have a location in mind and be able to choose the tattoo you will be getting for that particular location. The tattoo artist will then clean and even shave if necessary to area getting tattooed and apply a type of stencil of the tattoo on that area and allow you to see it. This will give you a good idea of what it will look like. As the artist is getting the ink and gun ready they will explain things about the needles and the procedures in order for you to become more comfortable with the whole process. When you are both ready they will begin the outline. Once the outline is finished the tattoo artist will once again clean the tattoo area and most likely change the needles in the gun to do the shading or fill in. After finishing the tattoo the artist will again clean the tattoo area and apply some type of antibiotic ointment and then it will be covered with a bandage. Congratulations! You now have a new tattoo. It will take a few days to heal but soon you will be able to remove the bandage and show off your new art.

Tattoo Care

The last step you will need to follow in very important. That is taking care of your new tattoo until it is fully healed. The tattoo shop will give you instructions that you should follow and will most likely give you ointment to use on your tattoo. Just remember to contact your doctor if something about your tattoo seems out of the ordinary (as discussed earlier). Make sure that you keep your tattoo bandaged for the first 24 hours. This will help in the healing process greatly. You will want to avoid touching the new tattoo and picking at any scabs that may form. After all, it is a wound and will most likely form some scabs in places. When you wash it for the first time try to use an antibiotic soap and just pat it dry. Re-apply some antibiotic ointment and also re-bandage it. This will only help your tattoo to heal. You want to avoid getting your new tattoo wet(pools, hot tubs, long showers) until the tattoo has fully healed. The other important step is keeping your tattoo out of direct sunlight. Even after it is fully healed the sun can cause fading of your tattoo a great deal. So it is suggested to use a sun screen on your tattoo for quite some time so that your new tattoo does not begin to fade to soon.

Vending locating companies offer you assistance with finding places to put your machines. They are often tied into the purchase of such machines as well. They make all kinds of claims that don't materialize. If you are considering working with one you are putting the success of your vending machine business in jeopardy.

The internet is full of stories about scams involving vending locating companies. If you aren't paying attention to that information you can find yourself in the same trap. Some of these places offer their assistance but don't provide you with anything at all in return. You may say you are protected because you have a written contract between you and them.

Yet it is hard to enforce such a contract when the business completely disappears. Your money will be gone and you won't have any locations for your vending machines. Others do provide services but the quality of it just isn't what it needs to be. They can help you find locations for your vending machines. However, those aren't going to be prime locations where you make money.

It is almost impossible to get your money back from such vending locating companies. That is because they can disappear very quickly before you even realize there is a problem. Others know just how to write the terms of the contract so that they are legally covered. While this is a fine line, you better believe they know the laws and just how far they can push the envelop.

It isn't going to do you any good to have just any placement for your vending machines. The location has to be carefully evaluated in regards to the volume of traffic that can be expected there. This is something you are going to have to define on your own. Don't rely on any vending locating companies to provide that information for you. If you do you are going to be disappointed with the amount of money you make.

It may be tempting though when you hear what any vending locating company has to offer. They make it sound like all you need to do is invest your money in the vending machines. They appear to be working on your behalf by offering to help you find the best places for those machines. Of course they will be making money from you by offering such a service.

It is very possible to have a highly successful vending machine business. However, you need to be in charge of the decisions. You need to secure locations that you have evaluated yourself. You need to buy vending machines to place only after you have those locations under contract with the owner. Otherwise you may end up with vending machines you can't pay for.

I haven't read any stories from people that have had good experiences with vending locating companies. However, there are tons of them concerning the negative results. Do yourself a favor and avoid working with them. This is one of the best ways you can ensure your vending machine business isn't on the road to failure.

Robert Farnham built a large, profitable vending business. He now writes about avoiding problems with vending locating companies, and the smart way of starting a vending business.

The Fantastic Make An Extra Income, Biz Networking and Sales Models for Tattoo Machines On-line Businesses 3 CD Course

Much speculation surrounded beach volleyball superstar and Gold Medalist Kerri Walsh's shoulder "tattoo" during the Beijing Olympics. It's not a tattoo at all, actually. It's Kinesio Tape, reportedly placed there to help improve healing and reduce shoulder pain.

Kinesio Tape and Kinesio Taping is nothing new, but it is certainly catching on. It was developed more than 25 years ago by Dr. Kenzo Kase, a Japanese chiropractor who trained in the US.

For years, the tape and the taping methods were primarily used by sports medicine doctors, rehabilitation specialists, physical therapists and chiropractors. The effectiveness of Kinesio Taping has spread like wildfire and it is now used by medical practitioners and top athletes worldwide. The Japanese Olympic volleyball team is thought to have started the frenzy with the athletes.

I've read that Kinesio Taping is being used on Lance Armstrong, Serena Williams, David Beckam, Robby Ginepri and Justine Henin, not to mention the current crop of Olympiads including Martins Plavins and of course, Kerri Walsh.

In Lance Armstrong's book "Every Second Counts", he refers to Kinesio as "Something better than any laser, wrap, or electric massager...The Tape. It is a special hot-pink athletic tape that came from Japan and seemed to have special powers. Every morning before the stage, they would tape us all up, different parts of our bodies . . . George's back, Chechu's knees. Sometimes we'd be so wrapped up in hot-pink tape that we'd look like dolls, a bunch of broken dolls. But the next day the pain disappeared -- it was gone."

Kinesio Taping is basically a technique of applying Kinesio Tape -- thin, elastic, color-coded strips of tape - on joints and muscles where support and stability is needed. It is a "non-restrictive" taping method (think the opposite of heavy strapping of ankles), used to reduce pain and inflammation, relax overused tire muscles and speed healing. It is also used for preventative maintenance, edema and pain management.

The tape itself is an elastic woven tape that comes in a variety of widths, colors and types. It is cut into different shapes and applied with a slight stretch to stretched skin. It may look like conventional athletic tape but it is fundamentally different in that it has a specific elasticity that plays a role in its effectiveness. It is thin, like skin, and is applied by professionals trained specifically for the different applications. It is placed on top of the skin, strategically, often in "waves", and is effective for 3 to 5 days before it needs to be replaced. You can shower or swim with it. It doesn't contain latex, which is great for those with latex allergies.

How Does Kinesio Tape Work?

When properly applied, you don't even know the tape is there. The practitioner places it on slightly stretched skin from one end of the muscle to the other, with varying amounts of stretch to the tape. For muscle support/facilitation, the tape is applied from the muscle origin to the muscle insertion. For rehabilitation or muscular inhibition, it goes on just the opposite.

The taping technique is based on the body's own natural healing process. Rather than "strap down" the muscle, the philosophy is to give free range of motion and allow the body's own muscular system to heal itself bio-mechanically. Application of Kinesio Tape encourages muscles to function as they would if they didn't need the tape, which improves not only body movement but circulation of venous and lymph flows, body temperature, etc. Pretty simple, but it makes perfect sense. There is, I believe, a psychological aspect as well. If your sore muscles are supported and allowed to heal, you are not in as much pain and you relax. Your performance improves along with faster healing.

Kinesio Tape's Uses are Seemingly Endless

Who would think that strategically placed elastic athletic tape would make any difference in the healing process, or athletic performance, for that matter? Well, it seems to work in a whole lot of ways if you ask our customers. Reviews (avg 5 out of 5 stars) of Kinesio Tape mention its effectiveness in relieving carpal tunnel, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain, and even ocular myasthenia. Other sources say that Kinesio Tape can be used for headaches to foot problems and everything in between. Examples include muscular facilitation or inhibition in pediatric patients, lower back strain/pain (subluxations, herniated disc), knee conditions, hamstring, groin injury, rotator cuff injury, whiplash, tennis elbow, patella tracking, pre- and post-surgical edema, ankle sprains, athletic preventative injury method, and as a support method.

One very important thing to remember is that the effectiveness of Kinesio Tape highly relies on the placement and technique. You can do it yourself, but only after you have been trained by a professional.

If you have any of the conditions mentioned above, Kinesio Taping might be worth a mention to your medical practitioner or chiropractor. Professionals and consumers, find all types of Kinesio Tape and great deals on medical supplies at one stop.
