BRASS DICE FRONT SCREW FOR TATTOO MACHINES

BRASS DICE FRONT SCREW FOR TATTOO MACHINES

With the price of gasoline skyrocketing, owners and operators who use their vehicles in the day to day running of their businesses are seeing huge declines in profits due to rising fuel costs. Residing somewhere between the obvious solution of investing in more fuel efficient vehicles and the dubious solution of converting their vehicles to run on water, business owners who must use their vehicles to conduct business do have some viable options.

For those business owners involved in the vending, delivery, catering, towing and similar industries in which a vehicle is a necessity for carrying out service delivery, the following list of suggestions could substantially decrease fuel expenses and return the bottom line to somewhere near normalcy.

Slow Down - We've been hearing this for the past 40 years. It's a fact. The higher your speed is, the higher your fuel costs are going to be. Is it really worth the few minutes saved when the costs are so high?

Tire Inflation - Improperly inflated tires cause a drag on fuel efficiency plus there's the additional expense of having to replace tires more frequently.

Maintain your Vehicle - A properly maintained vehicle performs better. Use the recommended grade of oil. Check and replace oil, air and gas filters regularly. Maintain a regular tune-up schedule.

Use Cover on Pick-Up Truck Bed - Covering the bed on your pick-up truck decreases the wind resistance and causes less work for the motor.

Keep the Tail Down on Your Pick-Up Truck - Affects the aerodynamics of the truck.

Combine Personal and Business Errands - Keep your business records accurate but when on personal errands in the same vehicle you use for business, combine the two activities whenever they are in close proximity to one another.

Overstock on Inventory You Store - If you store inventory that you use in your business, then overbuy on fast moving and non-perishable items whenever you make your inventory purchases. You can cut down on the number of times you run out to buy inventory and you're more likely to have product on hand when you're ready to stock your items for sale.

Overstock on Inventory You Sell - For those fast moving items you sell as well as for non-perishable items, overstock the shelves whenever possible with care being given to expiration dates if applicable. You can cut down on your service rotation schedule.

Adjust Service Rotation Schedule - Re-evaluate how frequently you really need to service your accounts. Adjust your service schedule accordingly. You can knock off several days worth of traveling by this method.

Look for Cheapest Gas Prices - While traveling on business, look for gas stations with the cheapest prices. Fill up then.

Chart Mileage Traveled - Since travel records must be maintained, chart mileage traveled on a weekly and monthly basis to observe progress.
